  • Additional mooring info Berth available at inland waterway off-grid gated access residential boat mooring located a 15 minute walk from the centre of Oxford UK. We have had two seagoing boats moor up in our backwater, however your vessel's shape is critical for access. The channel is fairly deep, but there are three low bridges to negotiate before reaching Walton Bridge Moorings, the lowest of which has only just enough air draft to allow passage of a British canalboat when the nearby Thames river is not in flood. We have comfortably accommodated a 2.75M wide Dutch Barge with a folding wheelhouse. The mooring is off-grid, boaters make their own power from solar or an on-site generator. The photos in sequence show 1.) Drone’s eye view 2.) View of the berth from the office door 3.) Pontoon walkway floating at flood time 4.) Access to the moorings from the road 5.) Vegetable garden 6.) Garden seating.. 7.) The local 8.) Home again.
